Meet Dr. Traci Bacon

Traci graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014 from Mount Saint Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics for the past 10 years and has achieved continuing education in manual therapy techniques, trigger point dry needling, Myofascial Release, IASTM, sports movement assessment, joint and spine rehabilitation, McKenzie method, treatment of chronic pain, prenatal and postpartum exercise interventions, etc. She played collegiate basketball for 4 years and has been a personal trainer for over 15 years.

Traci started Train Away Pain because the passion for helping people with their pain or physical limitations was being restricted by insurance policies and time constraints. Frustrated with the lack of preventative healthcare, she wanted to help clients reduce the risk of injury and start a training regimen to support their physical self for long term benefits.

Traci lives in Wyoming, OH with her husband and their 3 young children. She enjoys being physically active whether it is playing sports with her kids or running the flying pig. She enjoys weightlifting, playing platform tennis, golf, and anything to fuel her competitive side.
